What is Natures Little Art?

Natures Little Art bring our combined passions of geology and art to find unique geological specimens and share their hidden beauty with everyone.  Millions of years of natural process created these wonderful works of art, and it would be a shame to keep them hidden!  

Each of these images is a smaller piece of a whole thin section. It takes around 100 individual microphotography shots to create one complete thin section image.

Then we take a portion of that single image to create the products on this site. This allows us to offer various sizes and shapes while maintaining the ideal resolution. Below is an example of that area selection. The full thin section image used in our Crystalline Mosaic print, the area selected and the reorientation for our 9x12 Premium Fine Art Canvas Print.
